The KEEP Kindergarten Program as a ministry of the

Manoa Presbyterian Church

considers each child a gift from God to be nurtured,

protected and spiritually grounded in Christ Jesus.

We endeavor to assist each child, on an individual basis

from a developmentally appropriate perspective,

to reach their full God given potential as morally grounded,

personally responsible members of their families,

churches, neighborhoods and nation.

KEEP Kindergarten classroom

KEEP has creative program options:
1.) Full Day or Half Day Academic Kindergarten registered with PA's Department of Education and taught by a PA Certified teacher. The class size is limited to 16 students and the teacher has an assistant making a teacher to student ratio of 1:8.
2.) AM and PM Wrap-around Sessions for half-day Public School Kindergarten students. The AM session runs from 8:30AM till 12:30PM; the PM session runs from 11:30AM till 3:30PM. This program uses the Academic Program as its base, offering half-day Public School children a stimulating child care setting. This program is certified by the PA Dept. of Public Welfare/Office of Child Development Early Learning and is a member of  PA STARS.
3.) Full-day Pre-K for CCIS students. This option is oriented to 4.5-5 year olds not meeting the age requirement for Public School Kindergarten, but in need of a full-day of care. The full-day Kindergarten program is utilized to provide an age appropriate environment for learning and growth.

4.) Before and After Care Program. This program runs from 7:30AM till 9:00AM and from 3:30PM till 6:30PM. This program is also open to Manoa Nursery School Pre-K students and elementary school aged students. It is separate from the Academic Program and is also certified by DPW/OCDEL and a member of PA STARS.
Combinations of programs can provide childcare for Pre-K and Kindergarten children from 7:30am till 6:30pm.

Transportation for Full-day & Half-day Academic Kindergarten students is available through residential school districts according to their policies as provided by law in the state of Pennsylvania.
